# 2.1.2 Assignment configuration

Step 1. Go to the Instagram Settings page - Assignment Configuration section (as instructed above)

Step 2. Enable the Auto-Distribution feature

Step 3: Select the desired assignment mode: Sequential or Random

Sequential: Messages and comments from the Fanpage will be automatically distributed sequentially to staff members in the support user list

Random: Messages and comments from the Fanpage will be automatically distributed randomly to staff members in the support user list

Step 4. Choose application options for staff

Online staff only: Apply assignment only to staff members who are online

All staff: Apply assignment to all staff members, even if they are offline

Step 5: Click Save
